He will not be thinking, at least not with the part of the brain that controls higher functions. A scan of that part of the brain would show a "Gone Fishing" sign in the window.

Not sure what offends me more about this article...the catchy opener that hooks me in mere seconds, or the later interpretation of adolescent girls' oxytocin processing that leads the author to suggest young girls nurture children or pets as a gender-appropriate developmental activity...
